§ 31.053 DEPOSIT OF CITY FUNDS.
   The Treasurer shall deposit the city funds in such depositories as may be designated from time to time by the City Council as is provided by law, and he or she shall keep the city money separate and distinct from his or her own and shall not intermingle his or her own money with it or make private or personal use of the city funds.
