§ 30.22 SPECIAL MEETINGS.
   Special meetings of the Council may be called by the Mayor or any three Alder persons; provided, a written notice of such meeting shall be given to each member of the Council at least 24 hours before the time of such meeting. Public notice of any special meeting, of any rescheduled regular meeting or of any recommended meeting shall also be given at least 24 hours before such meeting, pursuant to ILCS Ch. 5, Act 120, § 2.02. If a special meeting should be called at a citizen's request, the citizen shall pay $25 for each attending elected official.
