§ 11.02 CITY BOUNDARIES.
   The city of Fulton shall embrace all of the territory within the following described limits, all located in the county of Whiteside and state of Illinois: beginning at a point on the north line of Section Thirty Three, Township Twenty Two North, Range 3 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, in Whiteside County, Illinois where the north line of the section is intersected by the east line of the right-of-way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company; running thence west along and upon said north line of said Section to the Mississippi River; running thence west on the north line of said Section extended to the center of the channel of the Mississippi River; running thence northerly up the center of the channel of the Mississippi River to a point due west of the center of the mouth of the Cattail Slough, so called; running thence due east to the center of the mouth of the Cattail Slough, so called; running thence easterly and southerly along the center of the Cattail Slough, so called, to the point where the center of the Cattail Slough, so called, intersects the east line of Section Twenty-One Township and Range aforesaid; running thence due east to the west line of the Public Highway running southerly through the northeast quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty-One; running thence southerly and westerly along and upon the westerly and northerly line of the Highway to a point twelve rods west of the center line of the Cattail Slough, so called, and twelve rods west of the center of the culvert now across the Highway; running thence due south across the Highway to the south line of the Highway; running thence due east to the east line of the right-of-way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company; running thence southerly and westerly along and upon the said east line of the said right-of-way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company to the point where the east line of the right-of-way intersects the east line of Section Twenty Eight, in the Township and Range aforesaid; running thence south along and upon said east line of Section Twenty-Eight to the point where said east line of Section Twenty-Eight intersects the south line of the abandoned right-of-way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company, located in the west one half of the southwest quarter of Section Twenty-Seven, in the Township and Range aforesaid; running thence west along and upon the south line of the abandoned right-of-way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company to the east line of the right-of-way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company; running thence southerly and westerly along and upon the right-of-way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company to the point of beginning; and, also, all that part of the Southwest quarter of Section Twenty-Seven in the Township and Range aforesaid lying south of the abandoned right-of-way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company and north of the center line of the Public Highway running from the city of Fulton to the city of Morrison, in Whiteside County, Illinois, and known as Illinois State Bond Issue Route No. 6, and U. S. Route No. 30, and north of the center line of the cement highway running easterly from the east line of the Southeast quarter of Section Twenty-Eight in the Township and Range aforesaid to said U. S. Route No. 30; and excepting and excluding a tract of land one hundred feet in width, the center line of which is as follows; commencing on the east line of 14th Street in the city of Fulton, in the county and state aforesaid, and on the center line of 10th Avenue in the city, and running thence east on the center line of 10th Avenue, extended, to the easterly corporation limit of the city.
