§ 8-14 KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK REGULATED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep within the city any livestock in a manner that offensive odor shall arise therefrom or in any place where the ground is not dry or cannot be adequately drained.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain upon any premises any animals which constitute a nuisance to the neighborhood, including, but not limited to, animals which emit foul or offensive odors or excessive noise, or constitute a danger to the safety of others. The city, or any resident of the city, may request the County District Court to have any animals which constitute a nuisance removed from the premises.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful to maintain or house, within the corporate limits of the city, any horse, pony, mule, donkey, cattle, sheep, goat or other livestock on any lots or parcels of not less than one acre per animal in size, and within 300 feet of a dwelling. There are hereby exempted from this section livestock housed or maintained at Ward Animal Clinic, 206 Nolan Avenue, or its successors, for the purposes of medical treatment.
