§ 8-6 ANIMALS TO BE VACCINATED FOR RABIES.
   The owner or custodian of every dog or cat over four months of age kept within the corporate limits of the city shall have the animal vaccinated annually for rabies by a veterinarian duly licensed by the state. The owner or custodian of the animal shall bear the expense of vaccination and shall secure from the veterinarian a certificate showing the date of the vaccination.
