§ 48-39 PARKING ON PARADE ROUTE OR SPECIAL EVENT.
   (A)   The Chief of Police or other authorized city official shall have the authority, whenever in his or her judgement it is necessary, to prohibit or restrict the parking of vehicles along a street or part thereof constituting a part of the route of a parade or procession or special event parking to erect temporary traffic signs to that effect, and to prohibit and prevent parking.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to park or leave unattended any vehicle in violation of the signs or directions.
