The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee shall be to collaborate with members of the committee, the City Commission and the community and to design and formulate a strategic plan for the city that preserves the heritage of our community and promotes the economic development and growth of the city. This committee shall be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic plan and memorializing the plan in a writing and/or illustration(s) that will be approved by the City Commission and can be utilized by the city and surrounding county government, Chambers of Commerce, individuals and entities for the promotion and future development of the city.
