§ 50-408 WATER BILLING CALCULATION.
A separate water bill shall be computed monthly for the consumption of water used by each residential living unit, commercial or industrial establishment. In those cases where a single commercial or industrial facility is being served by more than one water meter, the consumption of all meters may be combined for a single consumption and a single bill. In those cases where more than one residential living unit, commercial or industrial facility is connected to a single water meter, the total consumption shall be divided by the number of units served in order to establish an average consumption per unit. The water bill will then be calculated for each unit based on the calculated average consumption. Each unit shall receive an independent water bill for monthly service. Provided, however, nothing in this section shall prohibit the city from multiple billing on a single utility bill.
