§ 50-381 CONNECTION FEES.
   (A)   Tap-on fees.
      (1)   The water connection fee shall be $300 minimum.
      (2)   The sewer connection fee shall be $400 minimum.
      (3)   The gas connection fee shall be $300 minimum.
   (B)   Fee definitions and conditions.
      (1)   The water connection fee shall include installation of pipe from the city line to the property line and installation of the appropriate utility meter within two feet inside the property line. Any installation requiring more than 125 feet of pipe will be charged actual cost, in addition to the tap-on fee established in subsection (A)(1) of this section.
      (2)   If a main sewer line is available and adjacent to the customer’s property line, the sewer connection fee will include the installation of pipe from the city line to a point two feet inside the property line, more or less. Installations requiring more pipe will be charged at actual cost.
      (3)   The gas connection fee includes installation of the utility meter and regulator and installation of the pipe from the city line onto the property up to a maximum of 75 feet. Installations requiring more than 75 feet of pipe will be charged at actual cost.
   (C)   Residential customers. Subsections (A) and (B) of this section apply only to residential customers and are not applicable to commercial, industrial or other non-residential users.
   (D)   Commercial and other customers. Commercial, industrial and other non-residential customers will be charged a connection fee to be negotiated with the city on a case by case basis.
   (E)   All permits and inspections shall be secured and completed prior to final connection to the city service. The city reserves the right to refuse service based on final inspection of services.
