§ 48-33 LIMITATIONS OF STOPPING AND PARKING.
   (A)   No person shall stop or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in the following places:
      (1)   On a sidewalk;
      (2)   In a fire or safety zone;
      (3)   In front of sidewalk ramps provided for persons with disabilities;
      (4)   In front of a public or private driveway;
      (5)   Within an intersection or on a crosswalk;
      (6)   At any place where official signs prohibit stopping or parking;
      (7)   Within 30 feet of any street corner;
      (8)   Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway;
      (9)   On any controlled access highway;
      (10)   Within a highway tunnel;
      (11)   Anytime the face and top of a curb or curbs at or adjacent to which parking is prohibited at are painted a solid yellow color;
      (12)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
      (13)   It shall be unlawful for any person to stop any motor vehicle upon any bridge or the approach thereto within the corporate limits of the city, whether the vehicle is accompanied by a person or not:
         (a)   On an area between the roadways of a divided highway. (KRS 189.450(5))
      (14)   No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his or her control into any prohibited area. (KRS 189.450(6))
