§ 40-65 GENERAL CONTAINER REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Containers used for setting out refuse shall be provided by the garbage removal franchise. Plastic refuse bags and paper refuse bags (specifically approved by the City Department of Sanitation) shall be used to store refuse in the containers. Such bags shall not exceed 30 gallons capacity and shall be securely tied or clamped. All refuse must be in approved containers, except paper, wood, leaves, grass, shrubbery, or such vegetation trimmings may be placed in open, dry boxes or tubs, or be in securely tied bundles. Such bundles shall not exceed 50 inches in length and 30 inches in any other dimension.
   (B)   Other type containers may be used for additional and specific refuse collection service. These containers shall be metal or plastic cans of not more than 32 gallons capacity. Such containers shall have a handle on each side and shall be covered with a lid.
