Non-partisan primary elections for the nomination of candidates to city office are hereby eliminated regardless of the number of candidates for the office. All candidates shall file their nomination papers with the County Clerk no less than 68 days before the day fixed by KRS Ch. 118 for holding a regular election. The nomination and election of the candidates shall be conducted pursuant to KRS 83A.045(2)(b).
