(A) Number. The Authority shall be composed of six members.
(B) Appointment. The Mayor of the city shall appoint the members of the Authority. The Mayor should consider the advisability of appointing to the membership of the Authority members of the Fulton Industrial Corporation.
(C) Terms. Members of the Authority shall serve for a term of four years each, and until their successors are appointed and qualified; provided, however, that, initial appointments shall be made so that two members are appointed for two years, two members for three years and two members for four years. Upon expiration of these staggered terms, successors shall be appointed for terms of four years.
(D) Disqualification for membership. No person who has been convicted of a felony shall be appointed to membership of the Authority. No Authority member shall hold any official office with the city.
(E) Removal. An Authority member may be removed and replaced by the appointing Authority upon a showing to the appointing Authority of misconduct as an Authority member or upon conviction of a felony.
(F) Compensation and expenses. Members of the Authority shall serve without compensation, but shall be reimbursed for any actual and necessary expenses incurred by such members in the conduct of the affairs of the Authority.
