Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months or by both such fine and imprisonment. Revocation or suspension of a permit issued under this chapter shall not be a defense against prosecution. (Ord. 2456 § 1 (part), 1983).
