Every applicant shall file an application for a permit, or for the renewal of a permit, with the Chief of Police upon the form to be provided by the Chief of Police. Immediately upon the receipt of an application, the Chief of Police or his delegate shall cause to be made an investigation of the application to determine that:
A. The applicant did not knowingly make a material misstatement in the application for a permit or for the renewal of a permit; and
B. The operation pursuant to the issuance or renewal of a permit will be in compliance with the building, fire, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and health requirements as set forth in this code; and
C. The operation pursuant to the issuance of a permit will be in compliance with all applicable laws. (Ord. 2497 § 1 (part), 1984).
