Before entering upon the duties of the office of City Clerk, such officer shall file with the Mayor of the City a bond in the minimum penal sum of one hundred thousand dollars, which bond shall have been first approved by the City Council. (Ord. 2710 § 2, 1990: Ord. 1340 § 1 (part), 1964).
