8.30.150.   Overload permit required.
   The word “overload” shall mean any vehicle or combination of vehicles exceeding as to height, width, length, size or wight of vehicle or load the limitations set forth in Division 15 of the “Vehicle Code” of California.
   A.   It shall be unlawful for any person to move any overload upon any public street or place in the City of Fullerton without a permit therefor from Traffic Engineering.
   B.   It shall be unlawful for any owner or other person having control or supervision over any overload to cause or permit any such overload to be moved over any public street or place unless a permit therefor has been issued by Traffic Engineering and is valid and unrevoked.
   C.   Every permit shall be carried in the vehicle or combination of vehicles to which it refers and shall be open to inspection of any peace officer or traffic officer, any authorized agent of the State Department of Public Works, any inspector of Traffic Engineering, or any officer or employee charged with the care or protection of the highways.
   D.   It shall be unlawful to move or to cause or permit to be moved any overload contrary to the terms of the permit.
   E.   The permit must be legible and all conditions or terms must be attached to the permit face sheet to be valid. (Ord. 3180, § 1, 2013)
