Protection areas may be designated by the Fire Department and adopted by resolution by the City Council. Owners of properties within protection areas, as identified by the Fire Chief or his or her designated representative, must comply with the Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Standard on Brush Clearance, as adopted by resolution by the City Council.
