For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
“DWELLING.” A building which is usually occupied by one or more persons lodging therein.
“HOTEL/MOTEL.” Any dwelling licensed as such by the State Fire Marshal and kept, used, maintained, advertised or held out to the public to be a place where sleeping accommodations are offered for pay to transient guests, in which six or more rooms are used for the accommodations of such guests.
“ROOMING HOUSE.” A dwelling occupied by one or more persons in which three or more rooms are kept, used, maintained, advertised or held out to the public to a be a place where sleeping accommodations are offered for pay.
