§ 118.01 PERMIT REQUIRED FOR CHARITABLE SOLICITATIONS.
   Any person, agent, or employee of such person, engaged in the solicitation of money or other things of value for a charitable purpose, must first procure a permit from the City Council for such purpose. The person must make application to the City Council stating the object and purpose of the charity, the method by which money or other things of value are to be solicited and collected, and the specified time in which such solicitation is to take place. This section, however, shall not apply to solicitations of funds from members of the same fraternal or charitable organization.
