(A) Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine and/or jail time in accordance with the penalties for a Class A misdemeanor provided for in the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
(B) Any section or part of a section or any provision of this chapter, which is declared by a court of appropriate jurisdiction, for any reason to be invalid, shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of this chapter.
