Every sign erected pursuant to § 22-41 shall bear the message “YIELD.” Such signs shall at nighttime be rendered luminous by steady or internal flashing illumination, or by a fixed floodlight projected on the face of the sign or by efficient reflecting elements covering the entire face of the sign.
