(a) An executive steering committee, consisting of the city manager and all assistant city managers is hereby established. The executive steering committee shall from time to time:
(1) Review and oversee the development by the department of information technology strategic plans for the city;
(2) Establish priorities for the implementation of the city’s information technology strategic plans;
(3) Recommend adoption of final strategic plans by the city council; and
(4) Provide general directions to the department regarding information technology issues.
(b) The executive steering committee may adopt rules for the conduct of its business at the discretion of the city manager.
