An information technology solutions department (“department”) is hereby established. The department shall be supervised by a director (“director”), who shall be subject to appointment and removal by the city manager, and overseen by an executive steering committee, which shall consist of the city manager and all assistant city managers. The director’s salary shall be set by the city manager in accordance with the city’s compensation plan.
