§ 91.015 ADEQUATE SHELTER, WATER AND FOOD TO BE PROVIDED.
   (A)   (1)   No owner or harborer shall allow an animal(s) to remain outside continuously for more than 15 minutes without access to adequate shelter and potable water. At the discretion of the Department, an exception may be granted when an adult is present on the premises.
      (2)   Animal(s) must be brought into a temperature controlled structure when the temperature is at or below 10°F or at or above 85°F, or when a heat advisory, wind chill warning, or tornado warning has been issued by local, state, or national authority, except when the animal(s) is in visual range of a competent adult who is outside with the animal(s).
   (B)   Animal(s)s shall be provided with food that is nutritional for the species in adequate amounts and appropriate intervals to maintain good health.
