§ 31.03 RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   All appointed officers and all employees of the various departments of the city must reside in Indiana within:
      (1)   The county in which the city is located; or
      (2)   A county that is contiguous to the county in which the city is located.
   (B)   Employees and appointive officers first appointed prior to April 1, 1989, and who have had no break in service with the city, are not subject to any residency requirements other than those established by Indiana state law.
   (C)   Employees must have a valid phone number and physical address on file with the Human Resources Department.
