(A) Eaves, cornices and architectural features. Eaves, cornices and projecting architectural features may extend two feet into a required yard space, except that eaves may encroach three feet into a yard space when such yard space is ten feet or more in width. Steps may project into the required front yard not more than five feet and railings not higher than 36 inches.

(B) Fire escapes. Open fire escapes may extend into any required side or rear yard not more than five feet.

(C) Chimneys. Chimneys, when not more than four feet wide, may extend two feet into any required yard space.

(D) Porches, decks and terraces. Open, uncovered porches, decks or terraces not higher than the first floor above grade on the side or the rear of the building may encroach up to one-third of the distance to the property line into the required side or rear yard.
