(A) Permanent reference monuments shall be placed on or at:
(1) Block corners;
(2) Lot corners;
(3) Street right-of-way lines;
(4) Street intersections;
(5) Angle points of curves;
(6) The ends of curves;
(7) Points where a river or stream changes its radius;
(8) Angle points of any line; and
(9) Any other internal boundaries.
(B) Lot lines that extend to rivers or streams shall be monumented at the point of intersection of the river or stream lot line with a meander line established not less than 20 feet back from the bank of the river or stream.
(C) Monuments shall be spaced so as to be within sight of one another and not more than 1,400 feet apart. Monuments shall be properly set in the ground and approved by a registered land surveyor prior to the time the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the final plat.
