(A) Subdivision regulation shall be the responsibility of the City Council acting upon the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission, with the assistance of the Director of Public Works and Finance Officer or their designees. The City Council is hereby authorized to enforce these regulations, to interpret them and to promulgate and enforce such rules and regulations as it shall deem necessary, in the administration of this chapter and in the regulation of subdivision activities, for the good of the community as a whole.
(B) Any appropriate actions may be taken in law or equity to prevent any violation thereof, to prevent unlawful construction, to recover damages, to correct or abate a violation or to prevent illegal occupancy of a building, structure or premises.
