Wherever in this chapter an act is prohibited or is made or declared unlawful, or the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, any person who is in violation shall be fined in accordance with the city’s general penalty as indicated in § 10.99 of this code. Each day any violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense. A violation of this chapter constituting a public nuisance as defined under SDCL Ch. 21-10 is subject to abatement. The city shall be entitled to recover its entire costs incurred in abating the nuisance.
