(A) A building that has suffered fire, flood or natural disaster damage will be exempt from the requirements of this subchapter for not more than 90 days after the date of the event if the property owner submits a request for exemption in writing to the city.
(B) This request must include the following information, supplied by the owner:
(1) A description of the premises;
(2) The names and addresses of the owner or owners;
(3) A statement of intent to repair and reoccupy the building in an expedient manner and setting out a timeline and plan for doing so; and
(4) The name of the insurer, if any, and a statement by such insurer whether the cost of repair is to be in whole or in part by insurance benefits.
