§ 30.01 TYPE OF GOVERNMENT.
   (A)   The purpose of this chapter, as well as Ch. 31 of this code, is to describe the governing body of the city and also to set forth the rules of procedure such body will follow.

   (B)   Government of the city shall be of the Mayor-Council or aldermanic form, as described in SDCL Ch. 9-8.
