(A) The purpose of this section shall be to adopt the International Mechanical Code to guide the installation, alteration, repairs and replacement of mechanical systems, including equipment, appliances, fixtures, fittings and/or appurtenances, including ventilating, heating, cooling, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, incinerators and other energy-related systems, within the city.

(B) There is hereby adopted that certain mechanical code known as the International Mechanical Code, 2015 edition, as currently adopted and amended by the state in ARSD 61:15:01:01.
