§ 72.06 PARKING RESTRICTIONS.
   (A)   Motor vehicles shall not park in an area so designated by the city as a “no parking zone” when such zone is marked either by “no parking” or by a yellow painted curb.
   (B)   All types of vehicles, boats, campers and recreational vehicles are permitted to park on public rights-of-way for up to 48 hours during the time period of March 15 until November 15 of each year under the following restrictions:
      (1)   No vehicles shall be parked less than 30 feet from an intersection, as measured from the face of the curb of the intersecting road, or where marked by a yellow curb, or where posted by a sign;
      (2)   No vehicles, boats, campers or recreational vehicles shall park on a public roadway from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, May 1 to November 1 when that roadway is scheduled to be swept pursuant to the sweeping schedule as approved by the City Council. The schedule shall be posted at the city office and displayed on the city’s website;
      (3)   Any vehicle in excess of 32 feet in length or eight feet in width that restricts visibility or safety for vehicular traffic is prohibited from parking on the public rights-of-way;
      (4)   No vehicles, boats, campers, trailers or recreational vehicles shall park on the paved portion of the public right-of-way on rural section roadways. PAVED PORTION is defined as the gravel, asphalt or concrete surface area maintained by the city. No vehicles, boats, campers, trailers or recreational vehicles shall park in the public right-of-way off of the paved portion on rural section roadways for more than 24 consecutive hours; and
      (5)   No vehicles, boats, campers, trailers or recreational vehicles shall park within 15 feet of the center of a fire hydrant.
