ORDINANCE 2016-13
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT MITCHELL, KENTUCKY AND DIRECTING THIS ORDINANCE BE PUBLISHED BY SUMMARY
WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 83A.060(11) American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed a Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the enactment of Ordinance 2014-11 to the Code of Ordinances of this City; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which arc based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, said American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the elimination of redundant, obsolete, inconsistent and invalid provisions in the City's Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of Council to accept these updated sections in accordance with the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky as follows:
SECTION I
That the Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio and as attached hereto, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in it entirety.
SECTION II
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, if any, hereby repealed.
SECTION III
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its date of passage and publication according to law.
SECTION IV
This Ordinance shall be published by summary.
