There is hereby created a Fire Department for the city, whose membership shall consist of a Chief, and at least one assistant chief and not more than four assistant chiefs, and such other officers and members as are deemed necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the Fire Department. Assistant Fire Chiefs may be employees or they may be volunteers. All volunteers and paid staff shall be subject to the City of Fort Mitchell Personnel Policies and Procedures, as may be amended from time to time, unless exempted under that policy.
