(A) The Homeland Security and Emergency Management Director of Kenton County, Kentucky be, and that he or she hereby is, designated as the Director of Emergency Management for the city to perform the duties and responsibilities of a director of local emergency management agency as prescribed in KRS Chapters 39A through 39F.
(B) That when acting as the Director of Emergency Management for the city, the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Director of Kenton County, Kentucky shall utilize a Unified Command System (UCS) that is recognized by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and to include, as needed, the Mayor, the City Administrator, the Fire Chief, the Police Chief, and the Public Works Director of the city.
(C) In no case shall the city seek reimbursement for the Director of Emergency Management's salary for time spent in another capacity.
