ORDINANCE NO. 2004-15
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT MITCHELL, KENTUCKY AND DIRECTING THIS ORDINANCE BE PUBLISHED BY SUMMARY
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed A supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the enactment of Ordinance 2001-11 to the Code of Ordinances of this City; and
WHEREAS, said American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes;
WHEREAS, said American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the elimination of redundant, obsolete, inconsistent, and invalid provisions in the City’s Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of Council to accept these updated sections in accordance with the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the city of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, as follows:
SECTION I
That the Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as attached hereto, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
SECTION II
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, if any, hereby repealed.
SECTION III
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its date of passage and publication according to law.
SECTION IV
This ordinance shall be published by summary.
