The Building Inspector, appointed by the city, or any other person or entity authorized by the city, shall serve as Code Official for purposes of the Property Maintenance Code with all the privileges, rights, duties, and obligations herein imposed upon the Code Official referred to in that Code, and wherever in that Code reference is made to the Code Official it shall mean and refer to the Building Inspector.
