(A) The motel register shall be a register of all guests occupying one or more rooms at the motel and shall show for all guests:
(1) Name and address of each guest for which accommodations are afforded;
(2) Date of entrance and departure;
(3) License number, make and type of all automobiles; and
(4) State issuing automobile licenses.
(B) It is made the duty and obligation of the owner, manager, attendant and person in charge of the motel to ensure that the register is maintained in accordance with this chapter.
(C) The register referred to above shall be open for inspection at all times by state, federal, county and city officers.
