§ 93.50 AWNING REGULATIONS.
   Awnings, whether cloth, metal or any other material, may be erected in the city only in accordance with the following specifications:
   (A)   An awning may extend out from a building for a distance equal to no more than half the width of the sidewalk, and in no event may exceed the maximum distance of eight feet.
   (B)   Where a sidewalk is less than 12 feet in width, the awning must be held back at least two feet from the curb line.
   (C)   No awning shall be lower than seven feet, six inches in height, measured from the sidewalk at its lowest point.
   (D)   The dimensions in divisions (A) through (C) above are to be taken from the property line, fronting each building.
   (E)   Each awning must be properly secured to the building with approved mechanical fasteners not to exceed 24-inch centers.
