For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARBAGE. All organic household waste, offal, animal and vegetable matter, such as has been prepared or intended to be used as food, or shall have arisen in the preparation of food and like matter, from wholesale and retail groceries, stores and stands, restaurants, apartments and the like.
TRASH. All ashes, papers and cans but shall not include leaves, weeds, trees, branches, grass, old discarded furniture and boxes.
UNIT or FAMILY UNIT. A one-family dwelling shall be a UNIT. Each apartment in an apartment building shall be a separate UNIT. In the case of businesses, each business shall be a separate UNIT.
