§ 42.03 HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION.
   (A)   The Fort Mitchell Human Rights Commission ("Commission") shall consist of three members and one alternate.
   (B)   The Mayor shall appoint members to the Commission subject to the approval of City Council.
   (C)   The members shall be adults and reside in Fort Mitchell. No elected or appointed city official shall be a member of the Commission.
   (D)   Of the first three members appointed, one shall be appointed for a one-year term; one for a two-year term, and one for a three-year term. The alternate shall be appointed for a three-year term. After the initial appointment, Commission members shall serve three-year terms.
   (E)   The Commission shall elect a chairperson, vice chairperson, and a secretary/treasurer.
   (F)   The Commission may establish rules and guidelines, including but not limited to required training for the review and hearing of complaints filed under this chapter, for how it conducts its business subject to the approval of Council.
   (G)   The Commission, on behalf of the city, may accept grants and donations to be used to further its purpose.
