(A) Who must file. All candidates for city elective offices and elected officials of the city shall file an annual statement of financial interests with the Board of Ethics.
(B) When to file statements; amended statements.
(1) (a) The initial statement of financial interests required by this section shall be filed with the Board of Ethics by filing with the City Clerk no later than 4:00 p.m., March 1, 1995.
(b) All subsequent statements of financial interest shall be filed in the same manner no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 1 each year, provided that a person newly-appointed to fill an elective office with the city shall file his or her initial statement no later than 60 days after the date of the appointment. A candidate for a city elective office who has not earlier filed a statement in the same calendar year in which the election shall occur shall file his or her initial statement no later than 30 days after the filing deadline date for the elected city office.
(2) The Board of Ethics may grant a reasonable extension of time for filing a statement of financial interests for good cause shown.
(3) In the event there is a material change in any information contained in a financial statement that has been filed with the Board of Ethics, the elected official or candidate for elective City office filing the financial statement shall, no later than 30 days after becoming aware of the material change, file an amended statement with the Board of Ethics.
