§ 35.73 CONDITIONAL OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT.
   An applicant selected for appointment to the department, subsequent to the oral interview, will receive a conditional offer of employment from the city. The applicant will be required to successfully complete a more detailed background information, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation and medical examination. Upon successful completion of these requirements the applicant shall be appointed as a probationary member of the Police or Fire Department for one year. Police and fire probationary members who successfully complete a one year probationary period of service within the department shall be classified as a non-probationary, full-time employee of the city.
