The city shall administer a physical agility test for each qualifying applicant. The test for police applicants shall be consistent with the physical agility test for police officers developed and sanctioned by the Kentucky Criminal Justice Cabinet. The test shall be administered consistent with standards adopted and promulgated by the state. The test for fire applicants shall be consistent with standards developed by the city designed to measure and assess critical skills and abilities required of fire personnel. Both of these physical agility tests shall be administered on a "pass/fail" basis. Any applicant who does not successfully complete the physical agility test shall not be eligible for further consideration by the city.
