§ 35.47 PENSION AFTER TWENTY YEARS' SERVICE.
   If any member of the Police and Fire Departments has served 20 years or more and has reached his or her fifty-first birthday in such Police or Fire Departments, and if his or her application to be relieved from such Police or Fire Departments is granted, the said Board of Trustees shall order and direct that such person be paid a monthly pension equal to one-half of the amount of the salary said person is or was in receipt of as a member of said department at the time of granting application.
