(A) The budget shall be adopted by the favorable votes of at least a majority of all the members of the City Council.
(B) The budget shall be finally adopted not later than the last regular meeting of the City Council of the current year. If in any fiscal year subsequent to a fiscal year in which the city has adopted a budget ordinance as set forth in KRS 91A.030, no budget ordinance is adopted, the budget ordinance of the previous fiscal year has full force and effect as if readopted.
(C) Upon final adoption, the budget shall be in effect for the budget year. A copy of the budget as finally adopted shall be certified by the budget officer and filed in the office of the City Treasurer/Director of Finance. The budget, so certified, shall be printed or otherwise reproduced, and sufficient copies thereof shall be made available for the use of all offices, departments, and agencies, and for the use of interested persons and civic organizations. A summary of the budget shall be published for the general public no later than 30 days after final adoption.
