§ 96.17 LICENSE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN WHARF.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to maintain a wharf, wharfboat, or landing, or permit any other person, firm, or corporation to moor, maintain, or occupy any boat or water-craft of any kind upon or adjacent to the land of the first- mentioned person, firm, or corporation in the city without having obtained a license to do so. An annual license tax in the amount of $25 per year is hereby levied against all persons, firms, and corporations maintaining wharves, wharfboats, or landings for the use of other persons, firms, or corporations, or permitting other persons, firms, or corporations to moor, maintain, or occupy boats or watercraft upon or adjacent to the land of the first-named persons, firms, or corporations.
