§ 93.22 APPLICATION OF SUBCHAPTER.
   (A)   It is recommended that the following properties provide a Rapid Entry System consisting of a Key Box of a UL type, approved by the Fire Chief, and shall be installed on the property in a location approved by the Fire Chief or his/her designated representatives:
      (1)   All property that is protected by an automatic fire detection system and is reported to the Police Dispatch Center via hardwire or a third party operator.
      (2)   All property equipped with a sprinkler or stand-pipe system.
      (3)   All property more than three stories in height.
      (4)   Property that is unduly difficult to access because of secured openings, and where immediate access is necessary for life safety, or firefighting purposes, as determined by the Fire Chief or his/her designated representative.
   (B)   Key Boxes should contain the following:
      (1)   Keys to locked points of entry whether on the exterior or interior of the building.
      (2)   Keys to locked mechanical rooms, and electrical service rooms.
      (3)   Keys to elevator controls.
      (4)   Keys to other areas as required by the Fire Chief or his/her designated representative.
   (C)   Key Boxes are available for use on structures not specifically recommended herein, as approved by the Fire Chief or his/her designated representative.
